Wildcats back in Jacksonville

Bethune-Cookman is returning to Jacksonville this football season to play the Southern University Jaguars on October 21st. This is after playing at TIAA Bank Field last year losing to the Jackson State Tigers 48-8 in a blowout loss, that could have been much worse if the Tigers had not laid off the gas in the second half.

The Wildcats hope to have a better outing this time around however, history does not favor them, as Bethune Cookman has never beaten Southern boasting an 0-5 record with their last meeting in 2006, ironically in Jacksonville as well with Southern winning 30-29.

However, hopes are high that Cookman can take a win in this marquee matchup.
