Car Crashes Into Interim President Grimes' Home

Ormond Beach, Fla. - Thursday afternoon a car crashed into Bethune-Cookman University interim President Hubert Grimes and B-CU first lady Daisy Grimes' home on Old Mill Run in Ormond Beach.

According to Daisy Grimes, nobody was home when the incident occurred.

"Fortunately, no one was home and there were no injuries, and the young folks who were in the car were apprehended by the police very quickly so they have been arrested and so everything is safe," Dr. Clifford Porter, B-CU spokesman, said.

The car was operated by two young people who were arrested shortly after the crash.
