B-CU student was on the ground floor of the Biden-Harris Campaign
by Frederick Carson

Medina Cofer had the chance to see how a campaign operates from the inside out.
Cofer, a B-CU senior, mass communication major, interned with the local committee spearheading the Biden-Harris campaign.
"I've learned a lot but to keep it short and simple, I learned how very important it is to vote and make a change in your community and for the U.S." she said. "I also learned that a lot of white people don't really know anything about the culture of a HBCU. I feel as though if Joe Biden and Kamala Harris do win this election, I would hope she would help bring more light to HBCU's. 'Because when I say, they're clueless, they're really clueless.
"I had a great experience overall and shout out to Deshonae Luster, my internship adviser and who is also an alumni, for putting me on to this amazing opportunity."
