Though college is an experience that no one will ever forget, college graduation is an achievement that is both unforgettable and exhilarating. Voice of the Wildcats interviewed senior Benjamin Simmons, who will be walking the stage into adulthood on December 14, 2019.

Q. What does life looks like after graduation?

A. "Right now, I am still in the process of finalizing my post-graduate plans and won't have a completed plan until next week. However, I plan to go straight into the workforce as a communications specialist at a University or public relations firm before starting graduate school in August 2020."

Q. What do you believe bought you this far?

A. "The major push that has gotten me to the point where I am now is my faith in God. I know that without him, I honestly would not be where I am, and for that I am so grateful! I also think that my determination and passion for my dreams has really fueled me to be where I am today. Although I'm not where I want to be yet, I know that my fiery dedication will reward me throughout my career"

Q. How does it feel to be so close to the finish line?

A. " Right now, it is unbelievable that I am this close to being a college graduate! I feel like I just left high school. However, it feels great knowing that a goal I've had since middle school is about to be completed. I can't wait!"

Q. If you could go back to your freshman year, what advice would you have for your younger self?

A. "Among the several things I would say, one thing that I would stress is to NOT stress so much. Have fun and enjoy the experience. I would also remind myself not to question the works of God and understand that whatever he's doing, is working for my good."
