Another Classic, Another B-CU Win
ORLANDO, Fla. - Bethune-Cookman University Wildcats football team came from behind to defeat Florida A&M Rattlers 29-24 and secure the seventh win in a row in the Florida Classic football showdown.
Led by redshirt senior quarterback Wildcat Larry Brihm Jr., the Wildcats managed to produce a 14-point fourth quarter in a come from behind win. Following his impressive performance that concluded his college football career as an undergraduate, Brihm was awarded the Florida Blue Florida Classic Most Valuable Player award.
"It feels good," said Brihm following his performance.
After the game, head coach Terry Sims and the players thanked the fans for being so supportive, especially for cheering on when the Wildcats were down.
"They did not waiver... They pushed the team forward," Sims said.
